Automating our synthetic biology workflows.
Our Apricot was delivered today and the biggest surprise is how much this thing weighs. Its probably going to live on the pallet for the rest of the week until we figure out how to move it. Once we get it installed on a bench, we'll try something simple like setting up a standard cell fluorescence assay. These are pretty tedious to do by hand once you get beyond 2-3 plates so the liquid handler will significantly increase our throughput.
